Advisory Board

The UConn College of Engineering Center for Advanced Engineering Education has an active, engaged, and diverse Advisory Board representing aerospace, naval, environmental, biomedical, consumer packaged goods, civil, utility, energy technology, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries. The board meets as a group twice a year serving one year appointments, with the opportunity for re-appointment. Members receive intermittent communication via email for feedback and ideas to brainstorm curriculum helping to mold course offerings so that they appeal and are relevant to current workforce needs, as well as programmatic discussions that help the Center expand (nationally and internationally) and build connections for a strong distance learning program. Board members also act as a liaison with their own company (working with HR and engineering management) to garner interest for their employees to learn about professional education programming.
