Alan West is a Senior Manager in Process Engineering at Unilever R&D working on Beauty & Personal Care products. He leads a team of engineers that support the global scale-up of new innovations for brands such as Dove, Vaseline, Simple, St Ives, and more. In his 20+ years at Unilever, West has held various positions within R&D and has the opportunity to visit factories all over the world. He has a passion for sustainability and reducing the environmental footprint of fast-moving consumer goods.

He has his BS in Chemical and Materials Engineering and also an MBA from the University of Connecticut. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, skiing, golfing, and traveling.
