Plans of Study – Electrical and Computer Engineering

*Prerequisite math requirements: Four semesters of Calculus - Calculus I, Calculus II, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, or comparable* 

The program requirements are: 

MENG Core Courses (12 credits) 

  • ENGR 5311 - Professional Communication and Information Management 
  • ENGR 5312 - Engineering Project Planning and Management 
  • ENGR 5314 - Advanced Engineering Mathematics 
  • ENGR 5315 - MENG Capstone Project – Students are encouraged to work on a company-sponsored project 

    18 credits are required for concentration courses and can be chosen from any graduate-level coursework in ECE except ECE 6094 or ECE 6099 

    Other graduate engineering courses may be taken as concentration electives with prior approval of the Advisor.

    Students may need to travel to the Storrs campus to participate in those courses.
