David Golfin

David Golfin is a Deputy Program Chief Engineer at Pratt & Whitney where he has worked since graduating from UCONN in 2014. He holds a BSE in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University.
At Pratt & Whitney he has worked on a diverse range of jet engine programs ranging from early concepts to mature fielded engines on both commercial and military programs. He has principally worked as a systems engineer, specializing in engine performance.
While studying at UCONN he was a member and leader of the Engineering Ambassadors program, which he continues to lead from the corporate side of the partnership today.
Outside of work Dave enjoys reading, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. He lives in Middletown CT with his wife and three young sons.
