Gary Cooper is Director of Combat & Weapons Systems Engineering at Electric Boat Corporation, where he oversees development, engineering, design, test and construction of electronic control systems for shipboard applications, simulation and stimulation for system testing, and on-shore training systems. He has been with Electric Boat for over 37 years, and has led numerous projects in the fields of acoustics, electronic systems, advanced electromagnetic power systems, ship arrangement, design program management and structural engineering. Gary earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from UConn.
